My solace

Writing is my solace even if I'm not a writer. We can be a writer in our own way, so it could make me one. Whatever the label is, I find something therapeutic in writing. I write especially when I'm sad and I can write many things. I even kept a journal, which I call as "Status Update Journal"
That's all for now. I can't squeeze my brain much to write more here.

Driving along the mountain highway,the air was fresh and we could hear the sound of the nature...and then this music blasting from the car's stereo.

My friend just broke up with his girl and I was teasing him about it. Fast forward to this day...I've met a girl of my own. We haven't broken up yet,at least not yet,but I am scared that it might come to that way. She lives far from me. All of my past girlfriends are always a long distance affair.

Sigh,this could be just my fate. My girlfriend is still here but soon she will go back to her own country and I don't know what would happen next. She is showing some anxieties about it already and even hinted that she might not survive the long distance relationship. I promised that I will be with her but for now,my promises are just words unless it becomes a reality. I asked her if she believes in love, she said "Yes,but I can't stand being far from you." So sweet of her but woe to me! Damn! Should I undergo this one? I hope all the powers in the universe will help me and my girl make through this.

Do I believe in love? Yes,I do? I can't explain it though. I think it is the same as the air. You can't see it but you know it is there.

My all time favourite "feel good" music. I could play this a billion of times and I still want more. The message is universal and I hope with this, I can also share the message of LOVE and HOPE.

One entry of my "Bucket List" is that I would go to the shrine in Hiroshima, take pictures around the shrine then find a place to squat and play this music until I stop crying.^.^

This song is entitled "Kanlungan" it is a Tagalog (Filipino) word for "refuge,harbour,haven,shelter."
I came across on this song when it was used as a background music for a fast food advert. From that very day, the music was embedded in me head.
I don't understand the whole meaning of the lyrics but I'm sure it has a very good message. You don't need to translate music, everyone can understand it.
My fellow Filipinos who can understand the lyrics, I share this music to you...may it bring you to your shelter, tuck you in your comfort refuge, be in that place where you are protected.
